I know when the children leave at the end of the summer, I will see a therapist.It is what I did last year. It is to process the grief and loss from their departure. It is normal though to feel this way and the important thing is to get the help to be strong for the children. The separation is heart breaking. It's summer, so my daughter spends more time with her father - much to her chagrin and mine. But it's for a few days in a row. And I worry! I can't imagine being separated for longer!
